FIELD LOG
SUPABASE, CSS, DATA MIGRATION
2026
INTRODUCTION
Field Log is a personal daily journal I built to replace a Google Sheet I'd been using for two months to track my days, one cell per day with a rating and a line of notes.
DESIGNING METHOD
Auto-save removed the need for a Save button
The desktop layout swaps a shared panel between today's journal and whatever day gets clicked.
FINAL PERFORMANCE
I now use the app daily to track what I do every day and journal specific moments. I also use it to score every day so that I can look back and remember what I did on a specific day and how much I enjoyed it.
