INTRODUCTION
Walking on Water is my second song, built around violins and violas. It's about losing someone you loved and not being able to let them go.
PRODUCTION & MASTERING
I built the strings first, since the rest of the track had to follow the emotional register they set. Getting them to share space with the drums took most of three months of going back and forth, because pushing the drums up thinned the strings and pulling them back cost the track its drive. For the outro, I rebuilt how the strings and drums interacted instead of just speeding it up.
